Mbuya Nehanda Maternity to open in April
NewsDay Staff ·

A FINANCE, Economic Development and Investment Promotion secretary George Guvamatanga has announced that the Mbuya Nehanda Maternal Hospital at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals will be officially re-opened on Independence Day after being closed for renovation last year.
The hospital was closed for renovation following President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s surprise visit to Zimbabwe’s referral health institutions last year.
The renovations included the Adlam House, which accommodates student nurses, where there was a lot of damage to infrastructure, from the roof, ceiling, floors, sewer system, to the water system.
