Mataya eyes another victory as Zimbabwean returns at EFC 140

Zimbabwean mixed martial arts fighter Lewis “Porcupine” Mataya will return to the Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC) cage on December 3, seeking to extend his winning start against South African featherweight Steven “Guts” Goncalves at EFC 140 in Johannesburg.

Mataya, who hails from Chipinge, made an impressive professional debut at EFC 137, defeating South African Ayanda Zwane by unanimous decision.

According to EFC, the Zimbabwean overcame financial challenges to fund his training camp, even selling his car to support his preparations for the professional fight.
