Matanda buried

KWEKWE — Blessing Matanda (29), whose body had remained unburied for two months as his family members haggled with the police over the cause of his death in police cells at Munyati Police Post, has been buried.

Matanda family lawyer Tawanda Zhuwarara, who confirmed his burial last week, said the family had carried out an independent post-mortem which showed that Matanda was murdered, contrary to police claims that he committed suicide in police custody.
