Man batters sister-in-law over sadza

A 35-YEAR-OLD Harare man will perform 105 hours of community service at Highfields municipal police station for assaulting his sister-in-law over a plate of sadza.

Mutsa Mafuta pleaded guilty to the assault charge when he appeared before Mbare magistrate, Gladys Moyo.

Mafuta had initially been sentenced to three months imprisonment, which was then wholly suspended on condition he performs community service.
