FOR Shupikai Muvevi (55), meeting his nephew Jaison after eight long years was supposed usher in joy, but it turned out to be a date with death.

Like any Friday, Shupikai got down to his business at Barnabas Shopping Centre, also known as PaMadzimbabwe.

As one of the few trained and seasoned welders in this area, there is a load of work that needs to be completed before cooling off with a beer later in the day.
