Literature boost for Zimbabwe Cricket
Munyaradzi Madzokere ·

Zimbabwe’s ambassador to Senegal and Gambia, Trudy Stevenson, handed over five boxes of cricket books as well as secondhand equipment that included pads, gloves and cricket balls bequeathed to Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) by her late husband and cricket enthusiast Jim Dickey on Thursday afternoon.
ZC managing director Wilfred Mukondiwa received the bequest that would go a long way in augmenting the newly-established Zimbabwe Cricket Academy library at a handover ceremony at ZC offices in Highlands, Harare.
The diplomat’s husband, who succumbed to the Alzheimer’s disease in January, had a collection of cricket literature dating back 60 years ago.
