Langa performance remarks rile Mpofu

Zanu PF Matabeleland South provincial chairperson Andrew Langa’s remarks to the effect that Matabeleland North performed badly politically in the region have attracted the ire of party bigwigs in the province.

Langa, who is the Deputy Minister of Public Service, reportedly made the remarks on Friday while addressing members of the party’s Umzingwane district.

“In terms of party performance, we are number eight as a province,” Langa was quoted as having said.
