‘I bought a life for US$200’
NewsDay Staff ·

THE say life is fickle and valuable, so valuable that no amount of money can replace life, but it seems its now all but just a myth, at least, if we are to go by events that happened at Murewa Turnoff, along Harare-Mutare Highway in Marondera recently.
All it took for the myth to be busted was a dedicated “fireman”, a few ladders, an offer of the greenback and a man trying to take his own life decided there was more to life after all.
The curious crowd had swelled, motorists parked dangerously along the busy highway, while those of the Christian faith prayed for the Holy Spirit to intervene.
