How Mine set for top
NewsDay Staff ·
How Mine look set for a return to the top of the Zifa Southern Division One football league as they entertain strugglers Emakhandeni Pirates at the gold mine tomorrow.
Report by Sports Reporter
The gold miners, on 46 points from 22 matches, ceded the top spot last week after they were stunned by relegation-bound Rufaro Rovers 1-0 in Hwange and went down to position three.
Former Premiership side Bantu reclaimed the top spot after a 3-0 drubbing of Emakhandeni, landing on 48 points, but they have a tough encounter tomorrow as they lock horns with determined New West City at Luveve Stadium.
