Hlalani Kuhle residents get school

The government has acquired 6,5 hectares of land from Bulawayo City Council for construction of a secondary school for beneficiaries of Hlalani Kuhle/Garikai housing scheme in Cowdray Park.

According to latest council reports, the government submitted its application through Bulawayo governor Cain Mathema.

Council’s director of engineering services, Simela Dube, told the local authority’s lands and planning committee that Mathema’s application was initially deferred after the government indicated it wanted to build a primary school and a secondary school.
