High Court okays Zifa property attachment

Harare High Court judge Justice Loice Matanda-Moyo has okayed the attachment of the Zimbabwe Football Association (Zifa)’s property over a $90 000 debt owed to its suspended board member (finance) Bernard Gwarada.

Gwarada approached the High Court last month seeking an order to attach Zifa’s property pending payment of $90 306, 04 owed to his car hire company, LED Travel and Tours.

Through his lawyer Vimbai Hannah Tongoona, Gwarada filed summons for provisional sentence after efforts to recover the money through an agreement had hit a snag.
