Harare suburbs spend 2 weeks without water

NewsDay Staff ·

A HEALTH time bomb is looming in Greater Harare where several areas have been without running water for over two weeks.

The hardest hit areas include parts of Eastlea, Houghton Park, Waterfalls, Mbare, Kuwadzana, Dzivarasekwa, Mabvuku, Tafara, Ruwa, Chitungwiza and Norton.

Residents interviewed by NewsDay yesterday said they had now resorted to using unsafe water from Mukuvisi River and unprotected wells.
