Harare Open starts

The 2012 Harare Open Junior tennis tournament gets underway today with matches scheduled across four venues in the capital lasting until Saturday.

The tournament is organised by the Harare Metropolitan Tennis Board to give young players exposure and an opportunity to secure ranking points which are considered when selecting players to represent the country at regional and international events.

Prince Edward School and Alex Sports Club will host the 12-and-under and the 10-and-under respectively while Harare Sports Club and Old Hararians will host the 16-and-under and the 16-and-under tournaments.
