Gunda widow, army in fresh row
NewsDay Staff ·
The Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) continues to hound the widow of the late national hero, Brigadier General Paul Armstrong Gunda, with reports that last week a group of soldiers allegedly raided her safari business in Victoria Falls in an effort to repossess a car left by her husband.
Gunda died in a car accident in 2007 and was declared a national hero.
His widow Rangarirai Tatenda said military police visited her at her Tatenda Safaris Lodge on Tuesday last week on the pretext that they wanted to book accommodation for the night.
