Govt closes 2 loss-making tollgates

GOVERNMENT has shut down two tollgates that were reportedly recording revenue losses.

One of the closed tollgates was sited along the Ngundu-Tanganda Highway, 9km before Triangle, while the other was along the Chivhu-Nyazura Road, 17,5 kilometres before Chivhu.

Government gazetted Statutory Instrument (SI) 219 of 2022 to cease operations of the tollgates before December 31, 2022.
