Gotal banks on squad unity as Mighty Warriors name qualifier squad

Mighty Warriors coach Stella Gotal has placed her faith in a blend of experienced players, emerging talent and overseas-based stars as Zimbabwe prepare to face Malawi in the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games qualifiers.

The final squad released ahead of the two-legged encounter reflects Gotal’s emphasis on building a collective unit from players drawn from different clubs and football environments.

Zimbabwe will face Malawi for the first this on Friday and before returning home for the second encounter at the National Sports Stadium on October 13.
