Fuel dealer fined US$300 for violating Income Tax Act

Harare magistrate Nyasha Marufu has fined Giant Petroleum US$300 for contravenning two sections of the Income and Tax Act.

The charge arose from a complaint raised by the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (Zimra). The State led by Chipo Muvhamba proved that in November 2025, Zimra did compliance checks on Giant Petroleum with regards to the submissions of Income Tax returns.
