Fresh Harare mass demolitions on the cards

DEMOLITIONS of illegal structures are looming in Harare after the High Court ruled that a land developer should vacate a piece of land in Belvedere’s Ridgeview area.

High Court judge Justice Regis Dembure gave the land developer, Brickstone Builders and Contractors, seven days to vacate the piece of land after ruling that it had no legal right to be there.

Ruling Zanu PF party-linked alleged land barons Spencer Mabheka and Lilian Chitanga are listed as directors of the company.
