Four killed in head-on collision along Ngundu-Tanganda Road

NGUNDU, Aug 23 (NewsDay Live) – Four people were killed and six others seriously injured in a head-on collision involving a Toyota Probox and a Hino rigid truck along the Ngundu-Tanganda Road on Wednesday night.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) said the accident occurred at about 8pm on August 20, 2026, at the 2km peg along the Ngundu-Tanganda Road.

According to police, the Toyota Probox was carrying 10 passengers and was travelling towards Ngundu when it collided head-on with the Hino rigid truck, which was travelling in the opposite direction towards Chiredzi.
