Fake birth certificate lands official in trouble

A SENIOR official at the Registrar-General’s office based at Inyathi in Matabeleland North is in trouble after he alleged issued a birth certificate fraudulently.

Munodawafa Musingaindi (33) of Inyathi Veterinary Services Cottages who is employed as an assistant processing officer at the Births and Deaths Registration sub-offices was not asked to plead to abuse of office when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Takundwa Witness Mtetwa last Wednesday.
