ED2030 agenda: Legal manoeuvring or political power play? The fight for democracy unfolds
NewsDay Staff ·

AS the project to extend Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s term in office beyond two five-year terms to at least 2030 (Agenda 2030) gathers momentum — recently code named “Resolution No 1” as the first of the resolutions adopted at the 2024 Zanu PF national people’s conference, those who view things with legal lenses will be quick to resort to legal analysis.
