EcoCash launches new mobile App

EcoCash, Zimbabwe’s leading mobile money platform, has launched an all-new mobile app, with enhanced security and a vastly improved and intuitive user interface, which includes several more features compared to the old app.

The new application, which was launched in Harare today (Thursday, June 13, 2024), now allows EcoCash customers to send money to multiple recipients, exchange currencies between the US dollars and Zimbabwe Gold (ZiG), download statements and view expanded transaction history, among other convenient features.

This is in addition to features on the old app, such as buying airtime, paying for ZESA tokens, as well as paying merchants such as supermarkets and paying bills at institutions such as hospitals.
