Dube, Gumede in Caf committees

ZIFA president Cuthbert Dube and his deputy Ndumiso Gumede have been appointed to the Confederation of African Football (Caf) Under-20 Championships and Appeals Board committees respectively.

The appointments were confirmed by the continental football governing body yesterday, giving the two Zimbabweans positions on the rather less influential standing committees for the 2013-2015 cycles.

Dube’s committee is headed by Amadou Diakite of Mali, who is deputised by Constant Omari Selemani of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
