Defective vehicles, poor roads reason for road carnage

The rise in road fatalities this Christmas holiday is a cause for concern. By yesterday, the death toll had hit 29, and there is no doubt that fatal accidents will continue to go up due to various reasons which include reckless driving, poor policing and potholed roads.
