Dead in 1973, declared hero in 2018, grave still empty since 2023

AN empty grave that lies a few metres from  homestead has become the talk of the village in Hwedza.

The Chadoka family from the Chigwedere area  anticipates that one day their departed beloved one’s remains will be repatriated from Harare and put closure to the whole saga.

For years, the family has endured a painful limbo, their loved one’s grave lying empty, a haunting reminder of unresolved grief and unanswered questions.
