De Jonge seeks better fortunes
Daniel Nhakaniso ·
Zimbabwe’s leading golfer Brendon de Jonge will play the first two rounds of the 2015 United States PGA Championship with Americans Ryan Kennedy and Kevin Chappell according to the draw released for the year’s final major which tees off today in Wisconsin.
The Harare-born golfer will get his campaign underway from the 10th tee at 1355 hours (Zimbabwe time) in what will be his first appearance in a major event this season.
De Jonge, who has dropped out of the top 100 on the official world golf rankings, will be hoping for better fortunes at the Whistling Straits’ links-style golf course to get his campaign back on track.
