CWGH donates to Cyclone Idai victims

The Community Working Group on Health (CWGH) in partnership with Medico International has donated items aimed at promoting the health of vulnerable communities in Cyclone Idai-ravaged areas.

The two organisations also presented aid worth US$50 000 to affected communities in Chimanimani, while mothers also received a timely boost of toiletries, food and kitchenware to ensure that they prepare decent meals for their families, particularly children.

CWGH executive director Itai Rusike said the organisation was deeply rooted in the community and was, thus, awarding the community the opportunity to be visible and engage in public health sector processes in Zimbabwe.
