Crocker in line for Walker Cup selection

GOLF prodigy, Sean Crocker is on course to becoming the first ever Zimbabwe-born amateur golfer to represent the United States in the Walker Cup competition after he was included in their 16-man provisional squad for the prestigious competition to be held in September next year.

The Walker Cup is a Ryder Cup-style competition, where the top amateur golfers from Great Britain and Ireland go up against the top amateur golfers from the United States.

Next year’s edition of the biannual competition will be played at the Los Angeles Country Club on September 9 and 10.
