Couple loses Trabablas court case

THE High Court has dismissed an application filed by a Harare couple over a piece of land that was affected by the recently commissioned Trabablas Interchange.

Forbes Maruva Goka and his wife, Chipo Judith, had dragged the Transport and Infrastructural Development ministry and DNMZ Consulting Engineers (Pvt) Ltd, in a case involving a piece of land acquired for the construction of the interchange.

The Gokas were accusing the Transport ministry of unlawfully constructing on a portion of their property in Hopley, which they claimed was not included in a sale agreement dated August 23, 2022.
