Councillors threaten to be barbaric

NewsDay Staff ·

Harare city councillors have threatened to be “barbaric and foolish” to end their acrimonious relationship with Easihold, the company contracted to provide parking services in the city
centre.

Councillors and Easihold are locked in a bitter wrangle with the municipality with the former accusing their partner of being “arrogant”, saying they were not getting anything from the deal.
The matter has been referred for arbitration but councillors said they will not wait for that and will be confrontational and barbaric.
