Council to splash $20k on SA guests

CASH-STRAPPED Bulawayo City Council is set to splash more than $20 000 on 12 eThekwini municipality executives from South Africa for a weeklong tour of the city next month with $1 900 set aside for gifts.

The eThekwini delegation will be led by mayor James Nxumalo.

The South African city, also known as Durban, has in the past been working with the city in various water and sanitation projects under the Bulawayo Water and Sanitation Emergency Response project.
