Comesa forum hailed for forging regional business partnerships

THE 19th Comesa Business Forum has been praised for fostering regional and international partnerships, with the business community urging closer cooperation between governments, companies and regional institutions to drive trade and economic integration.

The commendation appears in the Comesa Business Declaration 2026, adopted in Harare on October 20 at the end of the two-day forum, which ran alongside the Comesa Green Industry Connect and the 25th Comesa Summit.

The communique, released by the Comesa Business Council, acknowledged the support of the Comesa Secretariat, Comesa institutions, ZimTrade and the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce, as well as other partners and sponsors.
