Clubs lose points
NewsDay Staff ·

Three Zifa Southern Region Division One football clubs lost three points each at the weekend as their matches could not be played because they had not paid affiliation fees to the mother body for the 2012 season.
A Zifa official, Augustine Ndlovu, yesterday confirmed the three clubs; Power Cosmos, Rufaro Rovers and Projects — all from the coal mining town of Hwange — had not paid their affiliation fees and could not play on Saturday and Sunday.
Power Cosmos lost three points to neighbours ZPC Hwange while Rufaro and Projects were walked over by Railstars and Bulawayo Chiefs respectively.
