Chinhoyi treasurer fired

Embattled Chinhoyi municipality treasurer, William Mandinde, who is facing fraud charges involving $79 000 has been fired.
The town’s deputy mayor Willie Nyambi confirmed the development on Thursday.
“I can confirm that Mandinde has been fired after being involved in a scam that has bled the local authority,” said Nyambi.
