Chihuri loses Chiadzwa case

Police Commissioner-General Augustine Chihuri has been ordered to release an assortment of mining equipment seized from Marange businessman Newman Chiadzwa.

The order follows last week’s ruling by High Court judge Justice Happias Zhou who described the police seizure of Chiadzwa’s mining equipment in 2009 as illegal.

The court ordered Chihuri to return the property.
