Chihuri likens God to vice-chancellor

Zimbabwe Republic Police Commissioner-General Augustine Chihuri yesterday likened God to a university chancellor, saying God gave instructions to Adam in the Garden of Eden, but Adam failed the exams.

Chihuri said this at the ZRP Staff College at Morris Depot in Harare while officiating at the graduation ceremony of 347 police officers where he warned them to be vigilant and use their training to protect the country’s natural resources.

He said some people in Zimbabwe had “failed examinations” because like the Biblical Adam, they could not follow simple instructions and had a tendency of selling the country’s resources to detractors.
