Cheetahs to warm up in Namibia

ZIMBABWE’S Sevens Rugby team, the Cheetahs, will have an opportunity to fine-tune their preparations for the upcoming international season when they take part in the Safland Windhoek Sevens rugby tournament in Namibia scheduled for later this month.

The two-day Safland Windhoek Sevens, which takes place in Windhoek on September 25 and 26, will see the Cheetahs joining other top teams such as South Africa, Poland, Botswana as well as South African provincial teams.

Hosts Namibia will field two sides in a bid to give more of their local players a taste of international Sevens action.
