Chanaka upbeat as China-Zimbabwe Expo draws exhibitors, visitors

Business, technology, education and culture converged in Harare this Friday as the China-Zimbabwe Commodity Expo and Job Fair opened, drawing nearly 100 exhibitors and an estimated 1 000 visitors on its first day.

The three-day event, running from October 9 to 11, has brought together Chinese and Zimbabwean businesses, institutions and service providers, offering visitors an opportunity to explore products, discover innovations and establish professional connections.

Walter Chanaka, managing director of the China-Zimbabwe Exchange Centre and Jacaranda Culture and Media Corporation, expressed satisfaction with the turnout on the opening day.
