Caps march on

EVEN in the face of trying times, Harare giants Caps United still scored the goals that counted for them to edge Harare City in an exhilarating Castle Lager Premiership at the National Sports Stadium which ensured they maintained their impressive start to the campaign.

Caps United, unbeaten in three games of the season have endured a difficult week following the arrest of their captain Method Mwanjali and midfielder Archieford Gutu last Sunday but they put all those problems aside yesterday to maintain a good start to the campaign.

With such players like Raphael Manuvire and Ronald Chitiyo among several other stars Harare City are one of the title favourires yet the Green Machine made such a big statement of intent in the manner they brushed their city rivals aside even though the final result suggests a close affair.
