Cairns eyes strong comeback

ZIMBABWEAN professional golfer Ryan Cairns, who has been sidelined with a wrist injury since July, is confident he will bounce back from the setback stronger.

A regular feature on the Sunshine Tour in South Africa before the injury, Cairns’ last appearance on southern Africa’s premier professional tour came at the Zambia Sugar Open held at Lusaka Golf Club in June.

In an interview with NewsDay Sport yesterday, Cairns said rehabilitation had been progressing well and he was confident he would return from the lengthy injury stronger.
