Cabinet approves 2026-2030 national social contract

Cabinet has approved the national social contract between the government, organised business and organised labour for the 2026-2030 period.

Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services minister, Zhemu Soda, said the agreement was aligned with the National Development Strategy 2 (NDS2).

“In line with the NDS2 (2026-2030), the Tripartite Negotiating Forum (TNF) was mandated to strengthen social cohesion anchored on trust, dialogue and shared national values, fostering mutual accountability and collective action towards inclusive and sustainable development,” Soda said.
