Byo seek devine intervention over water

The Bulawayo City Council (BCC) will on Sunday use the annual Mayor’s Civic Service day to pray for rain as the city is experiencing dire water shortages which has forced the local authority to introduce a 48-hour water shedding schedule.

The issue of water dominated a huge part of the one-hour long council meeting on Wednesday evening.

Ward 22 councillor, Rodney Jele had sought to compel the local authority to call for a day of prayer for rain in view of the serious water shortates.
