Bosso set the pace

It was a weekend of mixed fortunes for Castle Lager Premier Soccer League teams in the first week of the season as Highlanders climbed to the top of the standings after a convincing 3-0 win over Shabanie Mine at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.

Graham Ncube, Eric Mudzingwa and an injury time goal from former Railstars and Motor Action striker Njabulo Ncube ensured victory for the Mkhuphali Masuku-coached side.

Veteran Gift Lunga, one of the longest-serving players in the Premiership, had a good game and had two assists for the second and third goals.
