Agriculture specialists urged to embrace innovation

Agricultural specialists have been urged to not continuously upgrade their skills and embrace innovation to boost food security in the face of climate change.

Agriculture, Mechanisation and Water Resources Development ministry permanent secretary, Obert Jiri, said this is also necessary to improve service delivery and strengthen the country’s agricultural sector.

Jiri made the remarks when he met provincial directors, crop specialists and livestock specialists from across the country at the Department of Veterinary Services offices in Harare.
