100 evicted in Harare South

THE Deputy Sheriff yesterday stormed Harare South constituency and evicted about 100 members of the Tirivepano Housing Co-operative from an illegal settlement accusing them of defying a court order barring them from building homes at the site.

Some of the affected residents said the Deputy Sheriff was armed with an eviction order and escorted by police officers.
