10-man Hardrock refuse to die

Hardrock coach Kelvin Kaindu declared “it’s just our season,” after his team staged yet another miraculous comeback to beat Hunters at Chahwanda Stadium this afternoon and reach the finals of the Chibuku Super Cup.

Trailing by two goals, down to 10 men, and with the clock ticking towards an inevitable exit, his Hardrock side conjured yet another footballing miracle, outlasting FC Hunters 5-3 in a nerve-shredding penalty shootout.

The Kwekwe-based outfit now awaits the winner of tomorrow’s heavyweight semi-final between Caps United and Highlanders at Rufaro Stadium, with the grand finale slated for November 28 back at Chahwanda.
