At first glance, this is a conflict in which Amazon and Meta Force are somehow involved. Let’s see it.

The web search immediately clarified the situation. It turns out that there really is an actively developing conflict between Khamitzhan Dikhaev and Meta Force, more precisely, its leader Vladimir (Lado) Okhotnikov.

Meta Force in response accuses Mr Dikhaev of blackmail, claiming that he, threatening to spread negative information, claims a $5mn settlement. Meta Force said that Khamitzhan Dikhaev had never dealt with their company.

Dikhaev said that Meta Force is a pyramid, and that Mr Okhotnikov is wanted by Interpol.

We can see a situation of recrimination, and that’s part of the conflict that’s being exposed to the public. Let’s analyze it.

As for Mr. Dikhaev’s allegations, they are extremely general. For example, the SEC has claims against half the crypto companies. Note that there is no American court decisions against Mr. Okhotnikov.

The accusations that Meta Force is a pyramid are too general. A cursory analysis of the company’s activities disproves this allegation, Mr. Dikhaev may have some additional information, but he does not provide it.

The question is, what’s Amazon doing here? The answer will be unexpected, and to get it, we will have to get a little more acquainted with the biography of Khamitzhan Dikhaev, at least with the period of his life, when he was doing business in Kazakhstan.

It turns out Mr. Dikhaev is well known in this country. The influential time.kz newspaper has been investigating his activities for over a decade (English version is here) . And this activity was so turbulent and so specific that it eventually led to a criminal case of multi-million dollar fraud.

He had already left the country and his wife, whom the court considered an accomplice, had been sentenced to prison. He’s now on an international arrest warrant.

Today, Khamitzhan Dikhaev is hiding in Georgia, claiming to be a political refugee and giving interviews criticizing the Kazakh authorities. In his social networks, he searches for people affected by Meta Force, while his main subscribers are bots. We see the number of subscribers change during the day from zero to tens of thousands and back - this is typical of the use of bots. The number of subscribers varies within an hour from zero to tens of thousands, which is possible only if you attract bots. There is no evidence of his previous association with Meta Force.

Under these circumstances, Meta Force’s allegations of blackmail sound at least plausible.

Let’s return to the message that starts our article. Mr Dikhoev said that Amazon staff is ready to help all victims of Meta Force. I wonder why Amazon employees are suddenly so concerned: and what binds a reputable international company to a man who is internationally wanted for fraud?

This is Assem Dikhayeva, daughter of Khamitzhan Dikhaev and employee of Amazon. In detective novels, such facts are usually posted in the back pages, when a cunning investigator gathers all suspects in one room and logically identifies the perpetrator among them.

So, there’s a man wanted for fraud who Meta Force is accusing of blackmail. There’s this man’s daughter working at Amazon. There are Amazon employees who have actually agreed to help a man who is wanted for fraud... The eloquent chain is lined up. I wonder if these altruists know who they’re gonna help and if they know about the blackmail?

We have one more interesting question, are Amazon bosses aware of the strange charity hobby of their subordinates? Frankly, a very strange situation.

In any case, the developments are interesting, even cinematic, so we continue to observe.
