Caps United Football Club are yet to respond to the Highlanders’ $15 000 lawsuit on Stephen Alimenda a week after being served with the court papers by the Bulawayo soccer giants’ lawyers, NewsDay Sport learnt.

Bosso is suing Caps United for $15 000 they claim they are owed by the Harare side outstanding from the sale of the midfielder last year who cost $40 000.

Highlanders lawyer Matshobana Ncube of Phulu, Ncube Legal Practitioners said the Harare side was served with the court papers last week.

“Caps United were served with court papers last week. But we have not received anything from them yet. We are not sure if they intend to defend or settle the matter,” said Ncube.

Bosso want the former Cup Kings to pay the debt at a five percent interest calculated from the date of full and final payment and cost of the suit.
