PREMIER Soccer League side FC Platinum have beefed up their technical team with the appointment of former Caps United coach Darlington Dodo as one of coach Norman Mapeza’s assistants.

The four-time PSL champions have been operating with only Daniel Vherumu as Mapeza’s assistant.

But some influential figures at the club have decided to get more brains to aid Mapeza after a barren season.

The soft-spoken Caf A holder will serve as Mapeza’s first assistant.

His last job was at GreenFuel, where he was an assistant coach to Rodwell Dhlakama.

The seasoned coach, who won the league with Gunners, will be hoping to turn around fortunes at the Zvishavane club.
