THE Warriors have made a major leap forward on the Fifa rankings after posting two wins from two matches in the last international window this month.
The Zimbabwe senior men’s football team defeated Namibia 1-0 and 3-1 in Group J Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers both played at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa.
They moved seven places up to 117th position.
The Michael Nees-coached Warriors are now ranked 31 in Africa.
They have potential to rise as they face Kenya and Cameroon in the next FIFA international break.
Meanwhile, Morocco remain on pole position in Africa, followed by Senegal, Egypt, Nigeria and Algeria in that order
